This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement between Kajo Voice (“Processor”) and the customer entity that accepts our Terms of Service (“Controller”) when Controller purchases a paid plan. It governs the only personal data the backend ever sees — license, entitlement, billing, and product-analytics metadata.
1. Subject matter
Processor provides transcription, search, and library software that runs entirely on the Controller’s devices. Audio, transcripts, and library content are never uploaded — there is no cloud-processing path. The backend handles only license/entitlement validation, billing, and anonymized product analytics; this DPA covers that metadata.
2. Sub-processors
Current sub-processors are listed on our Subprocessors page. Processor provides 30 days’ notice of material changes.
3. International transfers
Where EU personal data is transferred outside the EEA, Processor relies on Standard Contractual Clauses (2021/914) and supplementary measures as required by applicable law.
